🎤Shaker Stage
Let’s welcome Sara Wohlmuthova, Global L&D Manager at Ataccama to take the Stage.
If you were to pick a different profession, who would you become?
-I would probably be a professional caregiver and animal rescuer, and I would have them all housed in my own home 😀
What’s the biggest challenge you’re facing in your role/business/project right now and how are you tackling it?
-I have been given the opportunity to develop an entire career development and performance management framework from scratch in a completely new environment. It's a great challenge and a lot of fun. In fact, "challenging fun" is one of the company's values, so it would be weird if it wasn't the case :)
To begin, I utilized my experience, explored various modern approaches, and also consulted with L&D Shakers! 🙂
At our company, we collaborated with a group of managers to develop this project. After several discussions and workshops, we have a framework draft that is quite standard. We haven't invented anything revolutionary :) Our plan is to differentiate it through branding and communication. We want to approach it as a campaign and align the wording and naming of all elements with a chosen theme. I'm curious about how people will perceive it. I'll share more details once they're finalized.
A podcast others should listen to:
-I really love "A Bit of Optimism" by Simon Sinek. I fully recommend it, as it features very interesting guests and a lot of ideas!
What does being an L&D Shaker look and feel like for you?
-The L&D Shakers community is super awesome! I have never encountered such a functioning and enriching community before. It's great to see the variety of approaches, experiences, opinions, tools, and everything from all around the world!
〜See you soon
Till then, keep spicing up your learning! 🧠🧂
