🎤Shaker Stage
Our first L&D stage has been taken by none other than Anamaria Dorgo, Head of Community at Butter and founder of L&D Shakers. Give a huge round of applause to her! 👏
What factors have most powerfully shaped who you are today?
-In one word: pivots!
First, living and working in Germany, Spain, and The Netherlands significantly impacted my adaptability and self-confidence. The same goes for my career pivots: from sales to HR, from HR to L&D, and from L&D to community building, and now freelancing. With each pivot, I could prove to myself that I could do things I thought impossible.
What are you currently learning?
-I'm starting a Rituals Design course today, and I am excited about all the possible ways we can design rituals for the community in particular and learning experiences in general.
A book that left an impression on you:
-I found "Originals" by Adam Grant to be deeply inspiring and moving. With each word I was reading, I could feel my brain getting more and more excited about all the possibilities. It sparked many experiment ideas.
What does being an L&D Shaker looks and feels like for you?
-It feels like a mix of curiosity, adventure, and companionship. It's a brave space I am using to test ideas out, expand my mind, and see how we can collectively bring about that sought-after change we all need and want to see happening in L&D. It feels less like one big splash and more like consistent tinny drops that cumulate.
〜See you soon
Till then, keep spicing up your learning! 🧠🧂
